About Michelle Valiukenas
Executive Director
The Colette Louise Tisdahl Foundation
Michelle is the proud mom of Colette Louise Tisdahl. Colette was born 16 weeks prematurely after Michelle was hospitalized for three weeks plus due to preeclampsia. Colette fought for nine days before she gained her wings. Michelle comes from an advocacy background and created The Colette Louise Tisdahl Foundation to financially help families affected by pregnancy complications, premature birth/NICU stays, and pregnancy loss, stillbirth, and infant loss. She is conducting advocacy and lobbying efforts as well to reduce maternal mortality, improve childbirth outcomes, and prevent premature birth.
