you may be able to participate in an interview study.
The purpose of this research is to gain feedback on a short questionnaire that will be used in a future research study to improve care for premature babies. If you qualify for this study, you will be asked to participate in a phone interview lasting approximately 30 minutes (and up to 45 minutes).
Participants who complete the interview will receive a $75 Visa gift card.
This is an important study and an exciting opportunity for your voice to be heard for the benefit of premature infants and their families in the future.
Who is doing the study? This is an important study being conducted by ICON Plc, a health research organization, and sponsored by Takeda, a biopharmaceutical company.
Email: [email protected]Will my participation be anonymous? Yes, all your answers and information will be kept confidential.
What are the benefits of participating in this study? The purpose of the study is to get feedback on a short questionnaire with two questions, which is intended to be completed by caregivers of premature babies with lung- and breathing-related problems as a part of a future study. The goal of this study is to get your feedback on whether the questions are clear and easy to interpret, understand, and answer.
Are there any risks to participating in this study? Some of the questions may make you feel uncomfortable. You can skip any question you would rather not answer. During the study, you will be asked to think about things that may have been traumatic experiences. This may lead to what is called secondary trauma. You can ask for help to cope with these feelings. You can leave the study at any time.
How long will it take? The study will involve a telephone interview (with the option of connecting remotely using the WebEx application), with questions asking about your feedback on the short questionnaire. The interview will last approximately 30 minutes (up to 45 minutes).
Will I be paid to participate? Eligible participants will be paid $75 in the form of a Visa gift card after completing the telephone interview. Gift cards will be shipped to participants within two weeks of interview completion.
