NPN Hill Day: Elevating the NICU Parent Voice

Join us for the Second Annual NPN Hill Day, happening June 10–11, 2026, as NICU Parent Leaders and advocates from across the country come together in Washington, D.C. for two powerful days of action, connection, and impact.

This is more than an event — it’s a movement. Together, we’ll champion critical issues affecting NICU families, including parental presence in the NICU, access to mental health resources, access to donor milk, paid leave, and stillbirth research. We will meet directly with policymakers, share our stories, and push for meaningful, lasting change that supports families at every stage of their journey.

Your experience matters. Your story matters. Your voice matters.

Don’t miss your chance to be part of this inspiring and impactful advocacy experience.

What is NPN Hill Day?

NPN Hill Day brings NICU and bereaved parent leaders, allies, and advocates from across the country to Capitol Hill to speak directly with congressional offices on behalf of families who need us most.

Which Issues Are NPN Focusing On?

This year, we’re advocating for:

  • House Resolution 236: NICU Baby’s Bill of Rights
  • Leave policies for NICU families
  • Shine for Autumn Act: Stillbirth research funding
  • Donor human milk safety
Who Should Attend?

Anyone who cares about improving outcomes for NICU families — NPN members and non-members alike, including staff, volunteers, ambassadors, peer mentors, and community advocates. Share this widely.

I've Never Done This Before. Can I Still Attend?

Absolutely!! And don’t worry! We will provide training on how to tell your story in an impactful manner in 3 minutes or less! We will also provide bill briefings on the items NPN is focusing on, which will include talking points and leave-behind materials.
