Panel of Peers: Models of Hospital Relationships

This panel discussion will examine the various ways NICU Parent Support Organizations work with hospitals to provide support services to NICU families & enhance family-centered care in the NICU. NICU Parent Network members will share their experiences in funding their hospital programs, providing services, and contract partnership models and they won’t be holding back!

Nancy Micca (she/her/hers)

Executive Director, Family Support Network of Central Carolina

Nancy has been the Executive Director of Family Support Network for 30 years. She holds a BS in Special Education/Early Childhood and a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. A strong passion for supporting families who experience a NICU journey or have a child with disabilities drives her work everyday.

Elizabeth Simonton (she/her/hers)

Co-Founder/CEO, ICU baby

Elizabeth Simonton is the Co-Founder and CEO of ICU baby, a non-profit organization based in Miami, FL. Elizabeth serves on the Florida Perinatal Quality Collaborative Committee and is a member of the NPN Board of Directors. Elizabeth received her BS Furman University and her law degree from University of Richmond.

Kelli Kelley (she/her)

Founder and CEO, Hand to Hold

Kelli Kelley is the CEO of Hand to Hold. She serves as Vice President of the board of directors for the National Coalition for Infant Health, as a parent expert for the AAP TECaN Advocacy Campaign of NICU family mental health and is a founding member of NPN.

Brittany Lothe (she/her)

Co-Founder and Executive Director, Will’s Way Foundation

Brittany Lothe is co-founder and Executive Director of Will’s Way Foundation, an organization that works with NICU families to advance family-integrated care and improve outcomes for preterm babies. She lives in Chicago with her husband, son and dog.
