Meet Crystal Duffy

Crystal Duffy is an author, teacher, parent advisor in the NICU and mother to three little girls including a set of identical twins. Her memoir, Twin to Twin, details her high-risk twin pregnancy and NICU journey. She is the Chair of the NICU Parent Advisory Council at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. As a Parent Advisor, she works with the NICU healthcare team on Quality Improvement Initiatives in the NICU. She also runs the Associate Parent Advisory Group that contributes to Quality Improvement Projects and Community Events for families and staff in the NICU. She teaches an Expectant Twins Parents Class through Twiniversity, the largest global resource for parents of twins. She runs a support group called Life After The NICU that is held monthly at the Houston Motherhood Center. Crystal is currently working on her second book about the importance of Parent Advisors in the NICU.
