They have given back to Neonatal Health in unique and varied ways as they’ve grown to be the NICU Parent LEADERS they are today. As a network of graduate NICU parents who have gone on to create support organizations, we recognize that having a critically ill baby in the NICU is a traumatic experience and one where healing must occur in many stages. The topics we discuss and share in our network may be difficult for graduate NICU parents to read and could trigger a recurrence of suppressed emotions. We encourage only those parents who are 18 months or more removed from their NICU experience to sign up for this membership. The most important thing for newly graduated parents to do is focus on the health and well-being of themselves and their babies.
